Rooted in History, Refined by Nature – join us for a magical moonlit adventure at Plaisir Wine Estate, as we explore forest trails, catch the sunset, and watch the full moon rise from the slopes of Simonsberg.

Plaisir Wine Estate – Simondium, Paarl. Our hikes are designed to reflect this heritage, blending the estate’s timeless beauty with the unique rhythm of the full moon.
Route & Experience
• Distance: 9.6km round trip
• To Viewpoint: 5km | 330m elevation gain | moderate, slightly technical single track – Return: 4.6km through lush forest trails
• Difficulty: A challenging but accessible to most hikers with moderate experience
• Duration: ±4 hours (including time at the viewpoint for sunset & moonrise)
