This will be the second run at the beautiful Bouchard Finlayson Winery, widely acclaimed as one of South Africa’s leading boutique wine cellars, famous for producing award-winning Pinot Noir and elegant Chardonnays.
And yes, it is HERITAGE DAY week-end!
The trail is a 5km single track into the mountain, running through fynbos and with majestic views of the Hemel and Aarde valley.
The run will feature all the elements that have become the hallmarks of a raceday event:
FREE Bouchard Finlayson wine tasters, category winners prizes, lucky draws and customised medals.
The following food items will be on sale:
- Heritage Day Platter – R390
- Boerie Rolls – R50
- Toasted Sourdough with Camembert & Fig – R45
- Pinot Brioche Burger – R95
- Coffee before and after the run.
5km and 10km runs.
07H30 start for runners.
08h30 start for walkers.
WALKERS WELCOME and the family walk entries are R75 per person, which includes a glass of Blanc de Mer.
Kids walk for free and a bouncy castle will be available on the day.
We will also have fun arts and craft activities @ R50 per craft and face painting @ R10 per child.
