• FREE ENTRY FOR 60 YEAR AND OLDER ON 21.1KM/42.2KM.

In 1994 the first event was held.  It was only a 42.2km.  Over the years the event has grown to what it is today.  We cater for roughly 3000 athletes (combined with cycling).  Our event is the biggest night race in North West.  The road is being lit with 2000 paraffin lamps along the route.  There are 12 waterpoints situated every 2km to 2.5km.  The whole weekend is also seen as a family breakaway weekend, you can camp or stay at locals and enjoy the countryside hospitality.  There will be a wide variety of food to buy during the day.
