The event will be a Cycling South Africa sanctioned event and the rules and regulations pertained to Gravel XCM races will be applicable. In line with the sanctioning, each rider will need at least a current CSA membership or will be obliged to purchase a Temporary CSA Day License when entering the event.

All proceeds of the event will go towards the George Vryburgers Food For Kidz project (to ensure that no kid goes hungry whilst at school)
