On the 4th of May 2024 we will host our 5th event on the Run The Vines calendar for the 2024 Series at the astounding Vrede en Lust Wine Estate.
Run The Vines is a Trail Run series for the whole family. Young and old can enter and it is suitable for all fitness levels. Walkers are welcome on the 3km, 5km and 10km distances. Please do not walk the 17km distance.
This year we will also be celebrating the start of our 10-year celebrations in March. We are also proud to announce that First Ascent is now the main sponsor of our events. Other sponsors like 32Gi, Manzi Water Paarl, Peninsula Beverages and Echo Friend Rentals are again committed to 2024.
What’s New in 2024???
- 50% Discount for over 65’s. Please note that the discount is only for online entries. Participants will have to pay the full fee for late entries.
- 1st Place age category prizes for 40 – 49 Years, 40 – 59 Years, 60 – 69 Years and over 70’s on the 10km and 17km distances.
- Order of Merit for series in all age categories Open, Over 40, over 50, over 60 and over 70 on the 10km and 17km distances. You have to take part in all 12 events. This means that only runners that take part in all 12 events will qualify for the prize. Prizes to be confirmed.

All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.
Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self-sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.

Please do not leave any valuables in your car. You can leave it at registration.
